Surrey365; Day 65. A magnificent Yew.

A couple from last weekend. One of the magnificent yew trees in the church yard of St Peter’s, Hambledon, said to be around a thousand years old, and with a girth of over thirty feet. One from the outside, and one from the inside; you can stand inside it if you wish, but sticking my camera inside was sufficient for spider-phobic me. 😉

  1. Wow! The interior is beautiful.
    I found myself looking for bats. Would something like that be a habitat for bats?
