Surrey365; Day 24. Grass Snake.

The culmination of our walk at Thursley was, just as we reached The Moat at the end, a 2½ – 3ft grass snake slithering across our path and into the trees. I followed it, and when it stopped, kept my camera trained on it for a good twenty minutes. Best photos I’ve ever got of a wild snake. 🙂 🙂 What a beauty!

  1. I once had a pet gras snake! Just for a summer. then we let it go. We called it Augustus because we found it on August bank holiday. It would swim with me in the paddling pool!
