Surrey365; Day 16. A pair of Pasque Flowers.

Such an exotic looking flower that it’s hard to believe that it’s native to the UK. Gorgeous.

  1. It looks too exotic to be native. I bought a pale blue ornamental Pulsatilla a few years ago and it morphed (or seeded?) into the wild form. Beautiful flowers. Amelia

    • In the garden! 😀 I bought them as plug plants in the autumn, along with some other native plants, and kept them potted over winter to keep them away from slugs. Planted them out surrounded by crushed egg shells, and they’ve been nibbled but not decimated as past ones have been. Fingers crossed they get established.
