Why this, why now?
My new blog. Bit of a change of direction, but it might be of interest to some of my regular readers. I’ll still be carrying on with this one, obviously. 🙂
Welcome to my new blog.
I love to eat. And I love to drink wine. As a result, I am around 20 lbs or 9 kilograms (around a stone and a half) above my ideal weight. For the last five weeks (apart from a bank holiday weekend of bacchanalian excess where I leaped off the wagon into a vat of wine, my fall cushioned by fresh crusty bread and a crunchy topped lemon cake) I have been following a low carbohydrate way of eating, and have lost 12 lbs.
I’m not a low carb evangelist who’s going to try to convince you that this is the only way to eat – I think that there’s more than one way to skin a cat / lose the fat, personally.
