This seems very exhausting to climb every day. The colorful houses brighten the attrition hopefully.
Hi Charles. Up until 1889 if you lived in Vomero, the hill rising from the centre of Naples, you would have to walk up and down the many many steps. In 1889 the first of four funicular railways opened linking the suburb with the city, which makes the journey a whole lot easier!
