roaming the wilds of south west Surrey
The start of the autumn colour at Winkworth Arboretum.
A beautiful start, Lucy.
Thanks Charles. 🙂
I really think Autumn has to be my favourite time of year – what beautiful colours, already!
And more to come, I hope!
Wonderful fall colors!
It’s getting there, Phil – I’m going to be going back to this place over the next few weeks as it becomes more colourful.
Netherlands gets relatively late this year to deal with discolouring leaf on the trees and leaf fall. The late autumn coloring is a trend, I read in a Dutch newspaper this morning.
It’s been late here too I think Charles – many of the trees are still green. We had the right weather for a good display of colour though. Not many fungi yet either.
